1) *****
"DROP-IN" PUPPY CLASSES *****
Proper socialization of puppies prior to 4 months of age is a critical factor
for their behavioral development and the lack of proper early socialization is a primary cause of behavioral
problems in adult dogs. Puppies go through very specific stages of development. One critical period of puppy
development ends at 49 days from birth and another critical socializaton window closes between 12-14 weeks of age.
Clicking With Canine puppy classes are modeled on Terry Ryan's S.O.C.I.A.L puppy class
protocols and designed to get your puppy off to an excellent start with socialization, good manners, training and learning,
as well as care and handling skills for the puppy parents.
Your puppy may start class when 7 weeks old AND at least 10 days after
their initial vacination for Distemper/Parvo combination and Bordatella. Proof of vaccination from your vet is required
at the first class. Puppies can be no older than 16 weeks on the first day of class.
For convenience, once registered you may simply "drop-in" at any of the scheduled classes
which are posted on the "Clicking With Puppies Page." Included in the class will be Premier's "Ultimate Puppy Tool-Kit" as well as a clicker with wrist coil, treat bag
and behavior handouts.
Those who also sign up and pay for any advanced class (Level I clicker class, agility, rally,
or obedience) at the time of registering for puppy class will receive a $20.00 discount and can attend an unlimited number
of puppy sessions prior to starting their advanced class.
