I offer group clicker training classes and private
training sessions at my classroom in Endicott, NY or private instruction in your home. My training facility
has two classrooms encompasing 6000 sq. ft., matted, well lit, and air conditioned. It includes a small retail section,
a kitchen, and restroom facilities.
The goals of my group
classes are to: 1) give you the knowledge and skills to train your dog with the clicker method, and 2) teach your dog
"how to think." In reaching these goals I focus on the behaviors that will make your dog a socially acceptable member
of the family.
I consider it my
responsibility to give each client the skills to train their dog in the most scientifically up-to-date, effective, and
dog-friendly means available, and at the same time, make classes fun for everyone, including, and especially, the
dogs. See below for additional information including prices.

Agility classes with Abbie Tamber:
Certified dog agility instructor Abbie Tamber (Dogs On The Run, LLC) conducts beginner
dog agility courses at the Clicking With Canines classroom. Abbie is also a graduate of the Karen Pryor Academy for
Animal Training and Behavior and is a Karen Pryor Certified Training Partner.
For those who do not know about Abbie, she is an agility instructor without peer in our area.
She has been training dogs for nearly 15 years and competing in dog agility for 12 years. She
was a member of an agility team representing the United States in an international world championship in Spain and competed
in the Great Outdoor Games on ESPN. The dog Abbie has competed with, Micro, has earned titles at the highest level in
the most competitive organization (USDAA) but that does not preclude Abbie from thinking agility is all about having
fun (while being safe) with your dog. Abbie utilizes clicker training to teach the dogs the agility obstacles and the
first area trainer to embrace and teach clicker training.
If you'd like to experience the sport of agility, or just looking for something to do with your
dog to get some exercise, both physically and mentally, I'd recommend taking advantage of this opportunity to train with Abbie.
Visit Abbie's website at abbietamber.com for more information and to apply for classes.

Rally Obedience
Rally Obedience is a cross between agility and traditional obedience. You walk a course
with your dog at the heel position and perform obedience exercises (sit, down, stay, etc.) according to signs
which tell you what to do at each exercise station. It is designed so everyone and every dog, young and old, can
participate. Having fun with your dog while establishing a close working bond are cornerstones of this new dog
sport.
The cost is $90.00 for (8) one-hour lessons.
Classes meet once per week. APPLY

Click to Calm classes: Do you
have a dog that is reactive to other dogs or people? Or do you have a dog who is shy and fearful around objects,
other dogs, people or hates going to the vet or groomer? If so, the clicker works wonderfully to help your dog overcome
its fears and teach it alternate and appropriate behaviors. I offer a "Click to Calm" class (based on Emma Parson's
book "Click to Calm") to teach you and your dog the skills needed for your dog to be calm and socially acceptable when out
in public. Cost is $100.00 for this private class at my classroom. APPLY
